Until April 2017 parish councils forwarded Annual Returns to the external auditor and these are published in line with the Transparency Code introduced in 2015.

Government has issued a Code of Recommended Practice on Transparency, compliance of which is compulsory for parish councils with turnover (gross income or gross expenditure) not exceeding £25,000 per annum. Up to 2018-2019, Woodgreen Parish Council has been exempt from the requirement to have an external audit from April 2017 but will complete Part 3 of the Annual Governance and Accountibility Return for 2019-2020 which will be sent to the external auditor as gross income and gross expenditure has exceeded £25,000 in this financial year. The following information is published online for ease of access:

  • End of year accounts
