Local residents are being warned not to lose their voice on decisions that affect them by making sure their electoral registration details are up to date. New Forest District Council (NFDC) will be contacting residents this summer, to keep the electoral register up to date and identify any residents who are not registered so that they can be encouraged to do so.
The first phase of Census 2021 recruitment in England and Wales has started and the Office for National Statistics has approached parish councils for help to recruit local people.
Local people make the census, and ONS will be hiring thousands of people over the coming months. Anyone who is interested in any of the roles can register now at www.censusjobs.co.uk
